Salt Inhibitor
Description
In many gas wells the water that enters the well bore contains various amounts of salts (sodium chloride and other salts) dissolved in the water. Often, as the fluid moves up the casing or tubing, the dissolver will precipitate out and reduce the opening in the pipe and in some instances totally plug the pipe.
If the well is bridged over with salt accumulation, it will be necessary to treat the well with 5 to 10 gallons of liquid salt dissolver. This will clean out any major deposits in perforations and casing. Allow approximately two hours for the material to dissolve salt crystals. If the salt problem is not too severe the salt dissolver may be diluted up to 50% with fresh water.
The salt inhibitor helps keep the salt in solution by salt chelating action and helps prevent this build up from occurring.
Salt inhibitor wil not foam. We suggest using a soap stick or liquid soap after the salt dissolver as part of the well treatment. Protect salt inhibitor from freezing.
Caution: As with all industrial chemicals, contact with eyes or skin should be avoided. Wash hands thoroughly with water after use. Wear gloves when handling.
